The Six Lots

Computer integrated systems design, service by service

Each lot below is a discipline in its own right and a strand in the same tape path. Most engagements begin with one and grow into three or four as the desk discovers how much of its day is spent moving numbers between systems that do not quite agree.

Lot 01

Trading Floor Systems Integration

We connect order management, execution management, market connectivity and post-trade platforms into a single governed estate. The work begins with canonical identifiers, timestamp discipline and agreed failure semantics, so that a rejected order looks the same in every system that touches it. We then test the full path under realistic load, including partial outages, before the floor depends on it. Compliance and risk teams receive traceability from the first millisecond of an order to its final settlement line.

Market Data Pipeline Engineering

Market data is engineering under a latency budget. We ingest vendor and exchange feeds, validate them against reference data and corporate action schedules, and publish one trusted stream to every consumer. Sequence gaps, back-pressure and replay are first-class concerns rather than incidents. Historical depth and point-in-time reconstruction let analysts explain any number they see, and on-call engineers can rewind a feed to a known-good state without taking the floor down.

Treasury and Reconciliation Automation

We automate the matching of positions, cash and collateral across accounts, custodians and the internal ledger. Break rules that once lived in a spreadsheet are encoded, tested and versioned, and exceptions are routed to the analyst who can resolve them with full context. Intraday checks replace the single nightly scramble, so a problem surfaces while it is still small. The outcome is a faster close and a position picture that every desk accepts the next morning.

Control-Room Dashboards

We design control-room surfaces that favour decisions over decoration. Alarm hierarchies, shift handover views and drill-down paths are built around how operators actually work at three in the morning. Every indicator traces to a documented data contract, so a number on the wall can always be explained. We test each surface with real operators before rollout and tune it as the business changes, because a dashboard that drifts from its data is worse than no dashboard at all.

Legacy Platform Modernization

We map ageing platforms honestly, wrap what is safest to wrap, and replace what genuinely pays to replace. Migrations proceed in steps that keep the desk trading throughout, with parallel running and reconciliation at every stage. Retired components are documented and their knowledge transferred into the new estate, so institutional memory survives the hardware it once lived on.

Managed Systems Stewardship

We stay on after go-live as stewards of the pipelines we built. Monitoring, service levels, capacity planning and scheduled rewind drills keep the system honest as markets and organisations change. You get named owners, documented runbooks and a quarterly review that asks a single question: is the tape still threaded exactly the way we designed it.

Discover

We sit with operators, map the real flow of work, and record where numbers are disputed. Discovery ends with a written operating picture and a ranked list of integration risks.

PASS 02

Design

We draw the full tape path: every feed, job, consumer and owner on one diagram with contracts and failure modes attached. Ambiguity is resolved on paper where it is cheap.

PASS 03

Integrate

We deliver short, instrumented slices against live-shaped data. Each slice ships with tests, a runbook and a rollback path before it reaches production.

PASS 04

Steward

We monitor, rehearse recovery and rewind the system before each market open. Stewardship keeps the design faithful long after commissioning.
